On March 3, 2025, Weston Hollifield, age 24 of Mineral Wells, Texas, met his Lord and Savior face-to-face after bravely battling cancer with all his might. He was born on June 23, 2000, to Clayton and Mandy Hollifield in Stephenville, Texas.
Weston spent his life in a wonderful family home filled with love and laughter and continued this when he married the love of his life Danielle Weir. He loved working on cars, and this led him to a career where he was able to work on big rigs and other machinery. He was an adventurer, very curious and inquisitive. He was a thinker and technologist. He was clever, quick-witted, full of life, and lived every moment he was given to its fullest. Weston will be remembered for his love of family, friends, and the Lord. He spent his early years in Stephenville and moved to Mineral Wells when he was just 11 years old. He graduated as Salutatorian from Community Christian School before obtaining a degree from Weatherford College and furthering his training as a Deisel Mechanic at TSTC. Weston loved making new friends through his job at J.B. Hunt, spending time with his Pawpaw doing who knows what, and working with his dad. He displayed a fierce commitment to his family and loved hunting, fishing, traveling, and doing the simple things in life with friends. Being around him made you smile even on the most challenging days.
He is survived by his wife, Danielle Hollifield, parents Clayton and Mandy Hollifield, sister, Delaney Hollifield, mother-in-law Neilee Weir, grandparents Tom and Debbie Greene and Betty Hollifield, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and tons of family friends who love him and will miss him greatly. He was welcomed into heaven by his Granny Mary Greene, Pa Jerry Hollifield, Father-in-Law Brian Weir, and Pawpaw-in-Law Earl Bland.
Together we all grieve his passing. We all love you, Clyde.
A memorial service will be held 10 am, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Indian Creek Baptist Church in Mineral Wells.
