Wieslaw was a beloved husband to Renata for 37 years, father to Dominika (Adrian) and Mateusz (Mariola), grandfather to Lukasz and Filip, brother to Andrzej (Tatiana), son to mother-in-law Krystyna Halasa, and Sarah Costa, who became a daughter after her parents passed away. Wieslaw is predeceased by his parents Rozalia and Bronislaw Koper, brother Jacek, sister Lucja, and father-in-law Bronislaw Halasa.
Wieslaw was born July 14, 1966 in Tomaszów Lubelski, Poland. As a young man, with his wife and children, he immigrated to the USA where he dedicated his time to the Polish Scouting Organization of Michigan. He was a life-long parishioner of St. Florian Catholic Church in Hamtramck. His greatest pride and joy was his family. Wieslaw was funny, charismatic, and filled the room with his presence.
Wieslaw was a dearly loved man who touched the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. Although his passing does bring great sorrow, the love that he shared with us will continue to live on in our hearts.
