Wilbert Phillips, age 72, of Oneida departed this life on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022, at his home with his loving family by his side. Born on February 9, 1950, in Helenwood, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Fred and Lula Ivorydale Phillips.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Judy Phillips; one brother Hurtis Phillips; four sisters Linda Lou Jeffers, Wanda Faye Allen, Brenda Sue Jeffers, and Lena Rose Letner.
He is survived by his son Russell Roysdon and husband Adam; three daughters Mary Butler and husband Chris, Sherry Phillips all of Oneida, Christy Phillips and husband Eugene of Robbins; his loving companion Fayetta Phillips; special niece whom he loved as his own daughter Trish Phillips of Oneida; one sister Carolyn Jeffers and husband Glen of Paint Rock; five brothers Ronnie Phillips, Rannie Phillips and wife Betty, JB Phillips, Freddie Phillips and wife Velma all of Helenwood, Curtis Phillips and wife Shannon of Indiana; special friends Dallas West, Daniel Boshears, Toby Crabtree, and Kaylee Fry; special brother-in-law Arnold Phillips and wife Jennie of Oneida; along with many other special nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to all the Amedysis nurses, Wendy Yancey, Dr. Gary Wells, and Brandi Huff.
Friends may visit with the Phillips family on Sunday, November 6th, 2022, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 noon with Bro. Jody Harness officiating. Music will be provided by Mikey and Michelle Phillips. Burial will immediately follow in the Daniel Memorial Gardens in the Helenwood community.
Pallbearers will include Trish Phillips, Ed Phillips, Daniel Boshears, Christy Phillips, Toby Crabtree, and Terry Phillips.
