Wilbur Coopersmith Obituary

Born April 2, 1927 in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late Stanley and Evelyn (Thatcher) Coopersmith.
Mr. Coopersmith was employed with the Philadelphia Bulletin for many years. Later, he worked as the head janitor of North Penn High School.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Mr. Coopersmith served his country honorably during World War II. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Naples, FL where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy E. Henk (Michael) of Greeneville, TN, and David M. Coopersmith (Helene) of Glenside, PA; his daughter-in-law, Ruthanne F. Coopersmith of Souderton; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas W. Coopersmith.
Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.
