Mr. McGahey is the son of the late George Morton and Bessie Litton McGahey. He is also preceded in death by his wife Lou Kathryn McGahey, son Wilburn David McGahey, brother George Vernon McGahey, brother James Garnet McGahey, and sister Maggie Lou Winn.
Mr. McGahey is survived by his brother Hubert Ray McGahey, son Phillip (Regina) Gerald McGahey, son Paul (Tammy) Gary McGahey, grandchildren Tiffany, Michael, Bradley, Jonathan, Isaac, Corrie, and Keegan, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild on the way.
Mr. McGahey served and loved the Lord all his life. He was an avid fisherman in both fishing and his calling people to follow Christ. He was an elder, preacher, scout master, led a prison ministry, bus ministry and little league ball coach. He left hardly a stone unturned while serving his God and his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and met him.
