WILDA JUNE COTTRELL SCOTT age 94 of Crossville, TN passed away August 14, 2025 in Nashville, TN. She was born September 30, 1930 in Crab Orchard, TN the daughter of Cecil Wallick and Edna Ellis. She was a lady of many talents, who loved to quilt and applique. She also enjoyed reading, especially her Bible. She was a gifted piano player who started playing in church at the age of eleven and played until the age of 92. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her sons- Paul Cottrell and his wife Delta and Allen Cottrell and his wife Chandra all of Crossville, TN, daughters- Shirley Epperson and her husband Jon of Nashville, TN and Sandy Erickson and her husband Charlie of Crossville, TN, daughter-in-law- Tempie Cottrell, stepchildren- Ronney Scott and his wife Cydnie, Stevie Scott and his wife Yvonne, Roger Scott and his wife Christine and Danny Scott and his wife Micki, sister- Jeanette Kirkland of Crossville, TN, ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She also leaves, two very special caregivers, Kathy Weigold and Karen Ayers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands- Alvin Cottrell and Howard Scott, son- Larry Cottrell and grandson- Zackary Cottrell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 16, 2025 at 6pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4pm-6pm two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Grave side Committal will be held Monday August 18, 2025 at 11am at Crossville City Cemetery.
