Wilfred Bockmier Obituary
Saturday December 25, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Buddy was born April 6, 1944 in Niagara Falls to the late Wilfred C. and Irene
Lindermoth Bockmier. He retired with a 50 year career in road construction. He enjoyed
hunting, motorcycles and sharing time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his
morning around the table at the Sunshine Café where he developed lasting friendship
with many of the customers and a lasting love for the owner, Lisa Routhier.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Tricia G. Bockmier, children, Penny Jean
Robbins, and William A. Bockmier, four grandchildren, Melissa (Jason) Drawdy, Devon
Bockmier, Richard Goodman and David Goodman, seven great grandchildren, one
brother, Robert Bockmier and two sisters, Shirley Hughes and Patricia Lacey.
In addition to his parents he was precede in death by two sisters.
Memorial Services will be held in New York at a later date
