Wilhelmenia Carson Jones Bumpers was born January 14, 1950 passed quietly on Friday, June 13, 2025 at a local nursing home.
Wilhelmenia was very soft spoken, loving, and caring. She would give you the shirt off of her back. She volunteered with Bread of Heaven Ministries, giving out food to the homeless.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: James Bumpers and Louis Jones; son, Cornelius Mark Carson; mother and father, Autherine and Johnny Carson; six brothers: James, Melvin, Clarence, Mickey, Joseph and Johnny Carson, Jr. and sisters: Henrietta, Linda and Darlene Carson.
She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters: Saphronia Smith Dansley, Doelynn (Luis') De Diaz, Catherine Jones all of Mobile, AL and Cornelia Jones of Pensacola, FL; five sisters: Clementine, Gwendolyn, Anne and Tammie Carson, Evangelist Patricia (Apostle Daniel) Moore; five brothers: Wilmer Carson of Mobile, AL, Milton Carson, Henry Eugene Carson of Theodore, AL, Rickey (Victoria) Carson of Dallas, TX and Eddie Carey of Birmingham, AL; twelve grandchildren: Xavierra (Cornelius) Hill, Rory Smith, Jr., Brandon (Shenell) Jones of Mobile, AL, India (James) Jackson of Midland, TX, Louis (Adrianna) Jones, Matthew Williams of Phoenix, AZ, Domineke Hill of Pensacola, FL, Michelle Williams of Atlanta, GA, Jeronica Claiborne and Teedrick Hayes of Mobile, AL; two devoted: Jatzman (Matthew) Kelly and Kaylin Smith of Mobile, AL; fifteen great grandchildren, one devoted – C'renatie Kelly of Mobile, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.
