Will R. Apgar, age 26, of Irwin, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Slippery Rock, PA. He was born January 17, 1999, in Monroeville, a beloved son of Brian Apgar (and stepmother, Ashley Apgar) of Scottdale, and Colleen C. (Slagle) Apgar of Irwin.

In addition to his parents, Will is survived by his brother, Jackson T. Apgar; his stepsisters, Launa and Vivian Crossland; his paternal grandparents, Bruce A. and Kathleen I. (Barto) Apgar; as well as his step grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wayne G. and Grace (Murphy) Slagle.

Will had a passion for the outdoors and loved boating, waterskiing, and swimming at the family cottage on Yough Lake. He loved spending time with his two dogs, Spot and Happy. He also enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles and had a special gift for making friends wherever he went. His warm personality, contagious energy, and adventurous spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin, 724-863-8900.
