William (Bill) Feath passed away peacefully at Brookdale Assisted Living in Sarasota, Florida Friday, October 31 after a brief illness.
He was born in Ebensburg, PA, son of the late Charles Harland and Ruth Ann (Lawrence) Feath. Before moving to Venice, Florida 30 years ago, he resided in North East, PA.
Bill was always an outgoing and caring man who not only loved and cared for his family but also looked out for others. He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his earlier years and loved gardening.
After high school in Ebensburg, PA, he and his wife Helen moved to Erie, PA where he worked for Marx Toys for a year until being drafted into the Army. He served in the Army during the Korean War as a mechanic in Inchon Bay, Korea. After his discharge, he came back to Erie and worked 43 years as a paper machine tender for Hammermill Paper Company/International Paper Company. After retirement, he moved to Venice, Florida where he spent the remainder of his life.
He is preceded in death by a brother and three sisters. Also, his wife, Helen Feath, son David Feath and great granddaughter Serena Jane Bulger.
He is survived by his longtime love: Patricia Zedtlach, daughter: Jane Stark (Jim), son: Jeff Feath (Pam), daughter Amy Feath (Jeff). Also, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren who will all miss him dearly.
Per his request, there will be no funeral services or visiting hours.
