Kendall Gale Dean

Kendall Gale Dean, 94, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 5, 2026. He was born on June 8,1931 in Colcord, West Virginia, son of the late Arnold Lowell and Sadie Farley Dean. He was a veteran of the US army serving in Germany from 1951-1953. He married his high school sweetheart Doris Ellen Crabtree, who joined him in Germany and ultimately celebrated 67 years together. He joins her now in heaven. They moved to Florida in 1960 where Kendall became a licensed building contractor. He was a charter member and generously served at Bethel Community Church of Sarasota, FL.

His greatest love was his family and being a father to 5 children Diana Waite (Garry) of Osprey, FL, Mick Dean (Ruth) of Osprey, FL, Michelle Brigham (with them in heaven), Monica Fields (Jason) of Chapin, SC, Mark Dean (Candy) of Watertown, SD. Grandad also cherished his eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his 2 brothers Leo Dean (Norma) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Danny Dean (Leona) of Carroll, Ohio and cousin Joretta Heestand of Shady Springs, WV. Kendall's kind gentle spirit and friendship will be missed as he finds his well-deserved rest in his heavenly home.

Burial will be held with the family at the Sarasota National Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be on Saturday February 21, at 11:00 at Bethel Community Church 5632 Gantt Road, Sarasota, FL 34233.
