Willard Devoy Allison, Jr., 64, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Born in Burlington, NC, he was a son of Nell Olene Allison and the late Willard Devoy Allison, Sr. Willard was a member of Cheraw First Baptist Church. He previously worked as a law enforcement officer and retired from Chesterfield County Sheriffs Office. Willard adored his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed singing, playing guitar and sitting on the porch. He loved helping others, and enjoyed his time spent working for the sheriffs office.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kim Denise Allison, daughters, Aleisha (Richard) Ainsworth, of Cheraw, SC; Raechel Grace (Bradley) Wright, of Sanford, NC; a son, Willard Devoy “Trey” (Beth) Allison, III, of Cheraw, SC; his mother, Nell Olene Allison of Cheraw, SC; brothers, Chap (Tracy) Allison, of Cheraw, SC; Tim (Cindy) Allison, of Cheraw, SC; Keith (Toni) Allison, of McBee, SC; and David (Robin) Allison, of Cheraw, SC, a sister-in-law, Jean Allison, of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Nathan Ainsworth, Ethan Ainsworth, Hannah Allison, Skylar Allison, Lexi Allison, Jaxon Connor, Brynlee Wright, and Parker Wright, and his dog, Rudy.
He was preceded in death by his father listed above and a brother, Roy Allison.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Cheraw First Baptist Church Family Life Center on Friday, November 17, 2023.
A funeral service will follow at 2:00PM on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Cheraw First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
