Willard “Hank” Raymond DeGolyer
96 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 10, 2024, at Life’s Journey of Avon. Hank was born on June 11, 1928, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Raymond DeGolyer and Ida Mae Braswell DeGolyer. He married Hazel, his wife of 66 years, on September 2, 1950. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers, William Humphrey and Warren DeGolyer. He is survived by his children, Fred (April) DeGolyer and Penny (Ernie) Coffman, grandchildren, Loretta (Brian) Bushong, Alisha (Sam) Willard and Jeremy (Catherine) Coffman, great grandchildren, Jenna and Lily Bushong and Alexis and Daniel Willard. He was retired from AM General. He served in the Army from 1952-1954 during the Korean War, serving in the 108th Field Artillery Battalion in Germany. He then served in the Army Reserves from 1954-1960. He enjoyed being outside and spending time with his family and watching Westerns and Sports. Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2024, from noon to 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
