A service will be held at Dodson Lutheran Church in Dodson, Montana on May 12, 2023, at 11am, with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Willard Mortenson was born on July 28, 1929, in Malta, and attended Dodson High School. He worked as a farmer and lived in Dodson.
Willard Mortenson is survived by his daughter, Diana Mattfeldt, his brother, Edmund Mortenson, and his sister, Edna Oldfield. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Friskop, his father, Otto Mortenson, his mother, Olga Mortenson, his sister-in-law, Gloria Mortenson, and his brother-in-law, Richard Oldfield.

Dear family of Willard, It is with fond memory of kind Willard that I send you condolences. So sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed visits with Willard and Ed while making sales calls or when the guys stopped in at North State Supply yers ago. Your whole family needs to be commended for your caring and support to help the Dodson community and friends from around. Another great man has crossed the pearly gates to life forever.
