Willard "Jeff" Purvis

Frankfort – Willard Jefferson "Jeff" Purvis, age 55, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Services will be held at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Scott Patton officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Jeff was born June 27, 1970, in Frankfort, Kentucky to Thomas J. Purvis and Linda Dobbins. He was a proud self-made entrepreneur, owner of Purvis General Contracting for over 30 years. He worked side by side with his son, Dalton, for many of those years. His commitment and dedication to a job well done was unmeasurable.

Most importantly, Jeff was a family man and built a life centered on his family and shared moments. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kim (Fowler) Purvis; children, Dalton Purvis, Devon Purvis Dennis (Justin), and Jeffrey Purvis; five grandchildren, Riley, Reece, Benson, Jayden, and Brayden; mother, Linda Dobbins; step-father, Donnie Dobbins; and sister, Loretta Purvis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Purvis; brother, Billy Joe Purvis; and sister, Tammy Sue Purvis.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Hughes, David Thompson, Vidal Blanco, Larry Perkins, Tony Kelley, Marshall Banks, Marty Luttrell, and Scotty Hockensmith. Honorary pallbearers will be Dalton Purivs, David Fowler, Donnie Dobbins, Riley Napier, Justin Dennis, Recce Dennis, and Big Benson Reign, Jeffrey Purvis, Michael Purvis, Bradley Purvis, Ricky Hazelett, and Cockle Lewis.

Flowers are welcome and expressions of sympathy may be made in Jeff's memory to the Salvation Army.
