William R. Aceto, a beloved member of the Rochester community, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who knew him.
Bill was a devoted father to Danielle Steward and Melanie Aceto, who were the light of his life. As a grandfather, he delighted in the presence of his grandsons, Kevin and Kyle Steward, who brought him immense joy and pride. Bill’s family was his greatest treasure, and his love for them was profound.
He is remembered fondly by his brothers, Gary (Carol) and Thomas Aceto and the late Herbert (late Judy) Aceto and the late Peggy Campbell, and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Bill was always there to lend a helping hand or share a good laugh, and his kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
In a unique twist of love and respect, he is also survived by his favorite ex-wife, Sue Aceto, showing that the bonds formed were never fully broken.
His zest for life was evident in his love for sports; whether it was playing baseball, enjoying a round of golf, or perfecting his bowling skills, Bill embraced every moment with enthusiasm.
