Margaret E. Aceto (nee Erickson) Passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Lightways Hospice Home. Age 92.
Preceded in death by her parents Peter and Alice Erickson, her husband of 33 years Arthur Aceto, daughters Patricia Jo Walker, Marialice Walker, her son Douglas K. Walker and her grandson Larry Walker Sr. Her brothers Earl, Charles and Ronald Erickson and one sister Arlene Youngren.
Survived by her 6 children, Jerry (Joyce) Walker, Michael (Linda) Walker, David (San) Walker, Nancy (David) Erzinger, Tammy (Kevin) Horvath and Kelly (Marcus) McGowan; grandchildren Tracy Figone, Zachary Erzinger, Elizabeth Erzinger Sullivan, Matthew Walker, Ashley Walker, Kathryn Plzak, Mikhail Walker, Kyle Erzinger, Mason Walker, Jerome Kuebler, Alec McGowan, 16 great-grandchildren and her faithful companion Humphrey. Also surviving are her friends from Solstice Independent Living Judy and Nancy.
Margaret loved cats, playing bingo and arts and crafts. She was a very social person with many friends. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
Per Margaret's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held at Elmhurst Cemetery May 9, 2025 at 11AM. Arrangements under the direction of the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory.
