William Lane Allen, aged 86, passed away on September 21, 2024, in Seal Cove, Maine. Born on January 13, 1938, William was a respected member of the Whitefish High School class of 1955, after which he dedicated 12 years to the United States Navy. As a Chief Petty Officer (CPO), he served his country with valor and commitment during the Vietnam War.
William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah Graham, his mother, Pansy Warnken, and his brothers, Ross and Charles Allen, as well as his father, James Allen. He is survived by his loving children, Andrea Ralston of Las Vegas, NV; Michelle Miller of Casa Grande, AZ; CJ Allen of Seattle, WA; Kelly Allen of Casa Grande, AZ; and Mike Allen of Yuma, AZ.
William was an avid fisherman, a passion that took him to various waters across the country, seeking the perfect catch. His love for travel complemented his fishing expeditions, taking him to numerous destinations, enriching his experiences and stories. Additionally, he was a skilled poker player, often found at tables with friends, where his strategic mind and jovial nature were equally displayed.
William's life was marked by his dedication to service, his adventurous spirit, and the love for his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and the stories that they will continue to share.
