Gordon Funeral Service & Crematory - MonroeWilliam “Bill” McDonald Allen, 74, of Indian Trail, NC passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. He was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on October 14, 1950, son to the late Neal Lewis Allen and Macie Campbell Allen. He is also preceded in death by his sister Cindy Allen.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 1:00PM at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, 410 6th Ave S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. The family will receive friends following the service in the church narthex.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Wanda Oliver Allen; two sons, William “Billy” Allen (April), George Shannon Truman; two daughters, Patricia Maxey (David), Dr. Elizabeth Locklear; four grandchildren, Lucas Maxey, Anna Perkoski, Oliver Locklear, and Charlotte Locklear; two brothers, Neal Allen (Shirley) and David Allen (Jane Mealey), mother-in-law, Clara Oliver; nephew, Nick Allen (Camelia); and niece, Krystal Nethken (Mike),
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, 410 6th Ave S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582, or donors’ choice.
