William "Bill" P. Anthony Jr.

94, Passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025. Born in Homewood on April 6, 1930, son to the late William P. Sr. and Carmella (Amen) Anthony. Loving husband for 73 years to the late Carolyn (Klehm) Anthony who passed in 2024. Caring father to Ric (Elaine) Anthony and Nancy Anthony-LaPlace (the late Richard "Ricky" LaPlace. Brother to Lorraine Lange, the late Marlene Affif and Ronald Anthony. Proud grandfather to Will LaPlace, Gabby LaPlace, Kristen Anthony-Lucci, Nick Anthony and Blake Anthony. Adoring "Pa" to Amelia, Harry, Conrad, Ruby, Addison, Emma and Max.

Bill embodied all the best traits of his Italian upbringing. As a kid, he learned to be tough and smart. He applied those skills in the business world, where he was a highly successful retail merchandise manager. He also grew up believing, knowing, that LA Familia was everything-that being surrounded by loving children, grand-children and great-grandchildren was life's highest purpose. Bill accomplished that purpose, and his family will live on as his legacy of love and devotion. He will be greatly missed but always with us.

A Memorial Mass for both Bill and Carolyn Anthony will be celebrated 10:30 am. on April 23, 2025, at Resurrection Church, 1100 Creedmore Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.

Arrangements handled by Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
