William APPLEBERRY Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shadel's Colonial Chapel - Lebanon on Dec. 13, 2025.
WILLIAM EVERETT APPLEBERRY was born September 17, 1930, in Lebanon, Missouri and departed this life December 12, 2025, in Marshfield, Missouri, at the age of ninety-five years.

On March 9, 1954, William was united in marriage with Carolyn Pauline Young. Together they shared seventy-one years of love laughter and memories, prior to his passing.

William made a profession of faith in Christ early in life and was a longtime member of Ozark Bible Church. He and Pauline attended faithfully for many years, until his health no longer allowed him to.

William worked hard to provide for his family. In 1973, he began working for The Durham Company, where he remained until his retirement, as a lead man, in the early 1990's. He made many friends over the years and treasured each friendship.

William was also a farmer and thoroughly enjoyed tending to the needs of the farm. He worked from sun up to sun down making sure everything was running smoothly.

When he had a moment of free time, he and Pauline enjoyed going to flea markets and traveling to state parks together. He also enjoyed watching television, especially westerns. However, nothing compared to the time spent with his family. He loved them deeply and unconditionally.

William is survived by his wife of seventy-one years, Pauline; four children, Brian Appleberry of Plad, MO, Dianne Bibb and her husband Paul of Pocahontas, AR, Phyllis Porter and her husband David of Ozark, MO and Debbie Blackburn and her boyfriend, Robb Giles of Lebanon, MO; grandchildren, Michael Porter, Laura Davis, Tommy Davis, Jennifer Jones and her husband Dwayne, Paul Porter and his wife Becky, Jeremy Porter and his wife Nichole, Christopher Blackburn and his wife Brittini, Jordan Blackburn and his girlfriend Savannah Bohannon and Austin Blackburn and his wife Nicole; several great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Those preceding him in death include his parents; one daughter, Lisa Weaver; two children in infancy, William Appleberry, Jr. and Karen Sue Appleberry; one granddaughter, Clarinda Porter; and one son-in-law, Kendle Blackburn.

Those who knew William will forever cherish the time they shared. He will be greatly missed.

Memorials have been suggested to Old Bolles Cemetery.

Donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel's Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948 or 1001 N. Lynn, Lebanon, MO 65536.
