William Leo Austin, Sr., age 86, passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2025. Born on April 1st, 1939 to the late Elizabeth and John Austin, Sr. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Elizabeth (Betty) Austin; devoted father of Dee (Scotty) Carroll, Gerry (John) Martin, and Dawn (Pat) Garvey and the late Rick and Terry Burkett and William Austin, Jr., loving grandfather of Danielle, John, Megan, Melanie, Joe, PJ, Justin, and Caitie; cherished great grandfather of Tyler, Brooks, Abigail, Ben, Riley, Jameson, Tera, Jacob, Ally, and Adam. Dear brother of Robert Austin and the late John Austin, Jr., Laura Goodman and Richard Austin. He also survived by many other loving family members and friends.
A public visitation will be held for Bill on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9PM in our Arbutus location at 1328 Sulphur Spring Road. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10AM at the Church of the Ascension.
