William Harvey Baldwin, Jr., 71, passed away on December 19, 2025 at Hospice of Randolph in Asheboro, NC.

Harvey was born on October 17, 1954 to parents William Harvey Baldwin, Sr. and Lona Hough Baldwin. Harvey worked for over 30 years at Silver Dollar Gun and Pawn in Ramseur. He was an avid outdoorsman and was an honorary member of the Chatham County Wildlife Club. Harvey enjoyed go-cart racing as well as flying model airplanes. Mr. Baldwin was a faithful attendee of Grace Community Fellowship Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Baldwin, as well as his brother-in-law, Manley Briles.

Mr. Baldwin is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rebecca "Ann" Hemphill Baldwin of the home; daughter, Vickie Whittington of Ramseur; son-in-law, Harry Whittington of Randleman, grandson, Matthew Whittington and wife Amber of Randleman; siblings, Elaine Baldwin Morgan of Rockingham, Agnes Baldwin and husband Steve of Sophia, Jerry Baldwin and wife Amy of Sophia, Steve Baldwin and wife Ronda of Sylvia, NC, and Angie Baldwin of Sophia; and sisters-in-law, Georgia Baldwin and Joe Briles.

A visitation for Mr. Baldwin will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at Loflin Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph County or to Grace Community Fellowship Baptist Church.

I have know Harvey for many years Harvey was a good man I will miss him I talked to Harvey quite often I used talk to him on The CB radio a lot I will miss him God bless him
