William H. Barrows
Loving father, grandfather and husband
WOLCOTT- William H. Barrows, 81, died peacefully on Monday April 22, 2024, at Saint Marys Hospital. He was married to the love of his life the late Delores (Natelle) Barrows for 56 years.
Bill was born on August 25, 1942, in Waterbury, son of the late Harold and Shirley (Von Tobel) Barrows. He worked as a manager for 25 years at RAF Manufacturing in Seymour before retiring. Bill proudly served in the US Army Reserves. He was very handy and could build or fix just about anything. Bill enjoyed reading, walking on the beach, tinkering and repairing cars and watching baseball and football. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Left to carry on his loving legacy are his three daughters, Kim Parisi and her husband Michael; Kristen Barrows; Kelly Barrows and her husband Tom Gorcyca; his four grandchildren, Bria Parisi, Nicolas Parisi, Nate Gorcyca and Anthony Gorcyca; his sister Janet McAvoy and several nieces and nephews; and his faithful, loving basset hound Moe.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions are encouraged to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
