William Stanley Barton

William Stanley Barton, affectionally known as Billy, 75, of Windsor, CT entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Billy was born June 30, 1949, in Hartford, CT, son of the late Dwight J. Bartton, Sr. and Doris Barton (Cleaver).
Billy always had the biggest smile for everyone he met. Enjoying the company of friends and townspeople alike at the Bean Coffee Shop in Windsor Center, Billy was the quintessential townie. Independent as he could be, with his own place, his own interest, Billy was also a very family-oriented person. Billy loved sharing holidays with his brother Jim's family and friends. Billy also enjoyed watching his nieces grow older year after year.
Most importantly, Billy loved the Yankees! He lived, breathed and sweated through every game, every season, Yankee to the core!! No one has ever been so devoted to a team, displaying Yankee memorabilia everywhere, on his clothes, all over his apartment, even sporting a nice Yankee tattoo on his forearm.
Billy will be sorely missed by everyone who strolled by him in Windsor Center or seen him at concerts On the Green in the summertime.
Billy leaves to celebrate his memory his brother Dwight James Barton, Jr. and his wife Diana, and a host of nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
Billy's family will receive family and friends on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 9am-10:30am, at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11am, at St. Damien of Molokai Parish, St. Gabriel Church 379 Broad Street, Windsor.
