William (Willie) Allen Baze of West Fork, Arkansas passed away April 18, 2023 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas after a short but courageous and valiant fight with cancer, Willie was called home. Willie was born in Wichita, Kansas. His parents were Linda and Ted Baze, Willie attended Harrah High School. Willie made a life as a Lineman and held many certifications in OSHA Safety where he utilized those at Vision Utilities as a Safety and Compliance Manager, before going into the cable business on his own as a contractor, an achievement he was extremely proud of. Willie was a friend, mentor, and gentleman to everyone he met. His huge heart, smile, and laughter was contagious and could fix anyone's bad day whether you knew him or not. His greatest love in life, other than family and friends, was riding his beloved Harley. He enjoyed music, playing bass, guitar, and harmonica. Also, he loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, climbing, and NASCAR.
His greatest attribute was spreading kindness and love by showing kindness and love, the perfect example of a true gentleman.
Willie is survived by his Niece Kara Callahan, whom was by his side from diagnosis to his last breath. (Promise Kept) and her husband Josh, daughter Mercedes Benedict and husband Max, wife Sherri Baze, Nephew Kevin Baze, and his Brotherhood of lineman, whom loved him dearly.

Dale

April 26, 2023

I remember the day Willie wanted his hair trimmed , only trimmed. My sister Sherry his wife was doing the trimming.. She started laughing and couldn't stop so he lost his trust that she was going to do a good job. Even I was trying to insure him that it was okay. She passed the scissors to me. It actually came out pretty good when we were done.
Willie was so kind. Helped other when it meant he would do without. Sometimes to a fault.
He did things he didn't have to do. There are people today that are better off because he was in their life.
Rest in peace willie until we see each other again. I love you always your sister Dale.
