William H. "Bill" Bazzle

North Augusta, SC – Funeral Services for Mr. William H. "Bill" Bazzle, 79, who entered into rest March 17, 2025, will be conducted Friday afternoon, March 21st, at 2 o'clock from the chapel of Sweetwater Baptist Church with Dr. Paul W. Noe officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, March 20th, from 6 until 8 o'clock.
Bill was born September 11, 1945, to the late Hughey Bazzle and Bertha Lillian Goodwin Bazzle. A native of Aiken County, he graduated from Leavelle McCampbell High School and has made North Augusta his home for the past 25 years. Bill was a friend to many and never met a stranger. He was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and retired after a long career in sales from Cohens Insulation, formerly Adams Insulation. Bill was an avid South Carolina Gamecock fan and he loved vacationing in the mountains.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Hilton Bazzle and Charles Bazzle; three sisters, Marguerite Simpson, Juanita Cook, and Betty Jean Peterson; and a stepdaughter, Ginger Spivey Ortiz. Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 20 years, Diane Bazzle; his children Janet Strickland, Troy Allen Bazzle (Kimberly), Traci Ellen Vining (David), Brooks Bazzle (Angela), and William Sherman Spivey, Jr. (Marella); a sister, Iola Morton; twelve grandchildren, John Murphy, Tyler Cascio, Troy Allen Bazzle Jr., Sydney Bazzle-Walker, Elizabeth Anne Bunn, Robert Alexander Sacks, Sally Rebecca Williams Holloway, Wesley J. Williams, Brooke Leeann Bazzle, Taylor Marie Spivey, Kayla Elise Groomes, and Katie Lee Spivey; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alex Sacks, T.J. Bazzle, Robert Bunn, Alex Bunn, Jadmir Holloway, and John Murphy.
