William A. Bebout Jr., 87, of Pleasant City, passed away Sunday (August 3, 2025) at OhioHealth Southeastern Med, Cambridge.

He was born September 17, 1937 in Cambridge, son of the late William A. Bebout Sr. and Hazel Irene (Ryan) Bebout. He was a graduate of Cambridge High School.

William retired from NCR after 28 years of service.

He was a US Navy veteran, where he earned certification in boiler maintenance.

He enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales. He was a collector of many things, especially trains, shot glasses, and cast iron toys.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, John and Robert; a daughter, Pamela; a brother, James Lee Bebout; and a grandson, Anthony Perkins.

William is survived by his wife, Donna J. (Ansberry) Bebout, whom he married October 21, 1961; two sons, George (Karen) Bebout of Newark and Chris (Marley) Bebout of Hernando MS; a daughter, Lori Bebout of Cambridge; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (August 6, 2025) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Military honors conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council will be held at the beginning of the visitation hours.
