William H Behrens

William (Bill) Herman Behrens, 95, passed away surrounded by his family at Alden Estates of Jefferson on October 14, 2025. Bill was born on September 15,1930 in Kingsford, MI, the son of Herman and Mary (Seibold) Behrens.
Bill was a proud Marine. Serving from March of 1951 to January 1953 at Camp Pendleton, CA. He was honorably discharged attaining the rank of corporal. He loved sharing his many colorful stories of his duties as a Marine. After his discharge, he returned to Kingsford, MI where he began his truck driving career with Chalmers beer delivery. On February 25,1955 Bill married Kay Johnson. When Bill arrived to the Southern Wisconsin area he began driving for Coca Cola. He later gained employment with JATCO car haulers in Janesville, WI. After 35 years of driving the open roads of the Midwest Bill retired from JATCO. He proudly boasted of logging 2 million safe miles over the road. In his free time Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bill remarried on August 15, 1998 to Delores Estes in Aurora, WI. She preceded him in death on September 6, 2022.
Bill is survived by his children, Susan (Robert) McGlumphy, William (Judy) Behrens, Sandra (Jack) Horn, Patti (Doug) Anderson and Kathy (Terry) Miller, grandchildren, Shawnn Usher, Scott Usher, Steven Usher, Kalee Cambray, Katie Patterson, Clint Johnson, Jennilee Johnson, Ashly Fleming, Jordan Anderson, Paige Anderson, Olivia Anderson, Kourtney Nofsinger, Devyn Miller and 23 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by daughter, Chris Ann and grandsons, James McNamara and Joseph Usher. Services will be held on November 5, 2025 with visitation from 5-7pm and a memorial service at 7pm at Albrecht Funeral Home, 828 S Janesville Street, Milton, WI 53563. Burial will take place at a later date at the Quinnesec Cemetery in Quinnesec, MI. Memorial contributions can be made to Brighton Hospice, Brookfield, WI.
