William Mitchell Benham, age 32, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024. He was a proud veteran who deployed with the Louisiana National Guard and who ultimately earned the rank of SGT. Everything Mitchell did in life, he did with a passion that couldn't be matched, and the lives of his family and friends will forever be a little more bleak without him here.
While Mitchell touched the lives of many around him, undoubtedly, the people who meant the most to him were his three daughters, Halle, Violet, and Zoe. He leaves behind many others, including his fiancé and mother to his unborn daughter, Amanda Sheffield; the mother of his other two daughters, Leona Ratcliff; his cousin, James Benham; and his paternal grandmother, Judith Day Benham, but none more precious to him than his children. He joins his father in resting, William Barton Benham, and his maternal grandmother who raised him, Carol Mitchell.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation that will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM.
