Reverend Terrell was born in Reidsville, NC and was the son of the late William and Ethel Terrell. He was a member of Promise Baptist Church where he assisted with services when he was able to. He served his God faithfully as a minister for over 48 years. William (Bill) retired from Fieldcrest/Cannon to become a full-time Evangelist until his health would not permit the travel any longer. He loved his dog Blackie, and looked forward to going to Mt. Airy each Fall to get produce and lots of homemade jellies and preserves that are sold in the country stores. Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Sandra Terrell; brothers Wesley Terrell and Dennis Terrell.
William is survived by his daughter Robin Durham and husband Gerald; granddaughter Kristie Beny and husband Alan Beny; grandson Cameron Durham, and a great granddaughter Evryn Beny.
