William “Billy” I. Davis, age 69, passed away November 27, 2023 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
Born in Abington, PA, Billy was the son of the late James I. and Estella V. (née Cheavers) Davis.
Billy resided at Embreeville State Hospital until 1997 when he moved into his current home with the loving support of his many caregivers from Merakey (Formerly Northwestern Human Services).
Billy was a gentleman full of spirit who enjoyed listening to music and watching his favorite television shows. He would smile and laugh whenever people sang “The Banana Boat Song.” With the support of his caregivers, Billy enjoyed attending holiday parties, going to the movies, going out to eat and viewing light shows. He was a friend to everyone. Billy touched the hearts of many people and will remain in them forever.
All are invited to his Viewing, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, 10:30 – 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by his Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM. Interment immediately following at Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
