On June 21, 2025, William F. Blake was called home and departed his life at age 47 at his residence in Troy, New York.
William "Will" was born March 18, 1978. He is the only son of Frederick Blake and Alice Harris. He was born and raised in Utica, New York. He later moved to Troy, New York in 2011 where he remained until his untimely passing.
Will leaves behind his parents and his four sisters, Naomi, Sarah, Samantha, and Sabrina. He also leaves behind his only son, Joseph Blake. He is also survived by his paternal aunts Billie, Pam, and Lorelyn, and his maternal aunts Robin and Carol. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his loving paternal uncles Danny Blake, Phil Blake, and Joe Giambrone. His maternal uncle Danny DeRose and aunt Mary DeRose.
William attended Thomas R. Proctor High School in Utica, New York. Will loved his music with special recognition of his favorites, the late Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley.
Will enjoyed watching football and was a well-known Buffalo Bills fanatic. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving son, brother, father, and friend.
