William Blubaugh, 65, of Hampstead, passed away on August 21, 2025 surrounded by his daughter and beloved grandchildren.

Bill, known by most, was born on November 14,1959 in Baltimore, to Marden and Odessa Blubaugh. He is survived by his wife Lisa, his daughter Heather and his 3 beloved grandchildren, Markel, Malaya and Makai: his entire world!!; stepmom Carol Blubaugh, sisters Marlynn, Deanna and Charlotte, brother Daryl, three nieces and his aunts and uncles and extended family and a host of friends.

While he was proud of his career and enjoyed watching sports especially football and the Orioles, his greatest joy in life came from being a father and then a grandfather. Nothing lit up his world more than the time he spent with his grandchildren. He adored them, celebrated their accomplishments, and cherished every moment of laughter and love they shared together.

To his grandchildren, he was more than a grandfather - he was their hero, their biggest fan, and their safe place. He never missed a chance to watch them shine, whether it was on the football field, the basketball court, the baseball diamond, or the cheer mat. His pride was unshakable, his encouragement endless, and his joy unmatched when he saw them doing what they loved. Being "Pappy" was the role he cherished most, and his love will forever echo in their hearts.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother and grandparents.

The family will welcome friends on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 5 to 7pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11am at the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior to the service. For those unable to attend the service, it will be livestreamed. Please visit www.prittsfuneralhome.com and choose the livestream link on the homepage. The livestream will begin just prior to the start of the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flower his daughter is asking that donations be made to Hanover Elite Cheer C/O Malaya Brown, 9 N. Pheasant Way, Abbottstown, PA 17301 or North Carroll Rec Council C/O Unity Basketball (where his grandsons are actively involved) 1000 Green Valley Rd, New Windsor, MD 21776.
