Will was born Friday June 13th, 1969. He peacefully passed away on Thursday December 29th, 2022.
He was born in Great Lakes, Illinois to Kenneth Austin Bonnichsen and Barbara Rae Bonnichsen (Jones).
Will was Survived by his Father Kenneth Bonnichsen of Peyton, CO, Mother Barbara Swaniger (Jones) of Waynesburg, PA, paternal Uncles: Tim Bonnichsen (Brenda) of Sturgis, SD, and Pete Bonnichsen (Barb) of Rapid City, SD, paternal Aunt, Tina Bonnichsen-Wilson of Aurora, CO, multiple cousins, half Sisters: Pam Murr (Andrew) of Peyton, CO, and Sarah Herrera of Peyton, CO, half Brothers: Justin Miller (Mirriah) of Columbus, OH, and Zach Bonnichsen of Parkersburg, WV, as well as nine Nieces and Nephews.
As a teen Will enjoyed being outdoors and could be found breakdancing with his friends at a local park.His life passion was art. He traveled all over the country, a lot of times by hitchhiking. He even traveled to Hawaii where he created art. He cared for lions and tigers in a carnival and had been a maintenance man for a local nursing home, and coffee shop.
He enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft, and other fantasy video and board games. His artistic endeavors included, but not limited to: woodworking, glass blowing, jewelry making, tattoo artist, air brushing, paintings, computer portraits, and most recently was the owner/operator of Creepy Crepes, as well as taking the role of a (peg leg) Pirate.
There will be a Memorial Service held at the R&R Coffee Cafe 11424 Black Forest Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908 Sunday January 15th, 2022 @ 5 PM.
