Bill was born on September 17, 1959 in Queens, NY to Kevin O'Connor and the late Margaret "Rice" O'Connor. He graduated from Ridge High School in Basking Ridge NJ class of 1978. Bill was employed as a Taper for International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. He enjoyed bass fishing. Bill was an animal lover, he volunteered his time at the local animal shelter.
In addition to his father Bill is survived by siblings Colleen Morea (Joseph) and Kevin Bourke; Aunt Ann LeMaire (Brian) and a daughter Jennifer Johnson (Jimmy): four granddaughters and two great grandchildren. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews as well as his great nephews and niece. Bill had a special relationship with his eldest granddaughter Dharma. He needed her as much as she needed him.
