William Alan Briese age 55; dearly beloved husband of Jennifer (nee Weber); loving father of Stephanie and Emily; son of Annette (nee Hirsch) and David Briese; dear brother of Suzanne Stegall (Paul); son in law of Judy (nee Cornett) and Marvin Weber; brother-in-law of Steven Weber (Lisa) and Matthew Weber (Vickie); much loved nephew, uncle, cousin, and dear friend of many passed away after a 10-month battle with Papillary Renal Cell Carcinoma Type 2. William was an active fisherman, a hobby he shared with everyone in his family and close friends. He also worked on pinball machines, restoring playfields, backglasses, electronics, you name it. He took the "Williams" pinball brand a little too literally. His 25-year career at GED, Glass Equipment Development, allowed him to look at windows, not through them. He loved goofing around and had a secondary lifelong career in (mostly) Harmless Fun. He and Jennifer were very active and never did anything that wasn't fun and included friends and family in the activities.. Friends may call at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH 44136 Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 4 to 8PM. Funeral Mass Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at St. Colette Catholic Church at 11 AM. (330 West 130th Street, Brunswick, Ohio). A private interment will be held at All Saints Cemetery, Waterford, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family's most loved charity, John Owens Adventure (joainc.org) and support the ongoing fight against Muscular Dystrophy.

Jen,Stephanie and Emily I really do not have words to describe what a special friend Bill was to me. He taught me so much in the years that I knew him not just about our shared love of pinball but of living a full and happy life. Bill made the world a better place every day he was here just by being his amazing self. I miss my special buddy so much and will never forget him.
