William Jacob Brosius

William Jacob Brosius, age 90, of Millersburg, entered into eternal rest on September 17, 2025. He was born on October 15, 1934, in Lykens Township, the son of the late Jay and Lydia Brosius.
Bill was married to Shirley on August 12, 1961, and was a faithful husband and dad, always surrounded by his loving and caring family. He is held in the hearts of his wife, Shirley, and their two sons and daughters-in-law, Ted and Deb Brosius, and Terry and Caren Brosius. He was also blessed with five grandchildren and their spouses: Rachel and Andrew, Daniel and his fiancée Julia, Grace, Scott and Kaylyn, and Elizabeth.
Bill was a faithful servant of the church as he was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Millersburg. He took pride in tending the flower garden at his Millersburg home and enjoyed spending time on the golf course with the Silver Straggler's League. He was also a member of the Elk Trail Gun Club and cherished hunting trips to Potter County.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Marie Brosius, and siblings Alma Stroup, Anna Hartman, and Marie Maurer.
A viewing will be held on September 22, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St Matthews Church of Christ, Spring Glen. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Terry Brosius officiating. Interment will take place in the David's Church Cemetery, Millersburg.
