I first met Brugge at Ohio State in 1975. Several years later, when I returned to Penn State, Brugge said that he was going to Smu. He said it was a great school and then I should consider moving to Smu with him. I did so in 1979 and have no regrets. We both live on the same floor in the Cox building and while he was in real estate and I was in Management, we reinvent anything they´re close friendship ever since our meeting Wayback win Ohio State. He was a good good man and a wonderful teacher

Bill will be deeply missed by those of us who knew and worked with him for many years. He was a highly valued colleague and mentor at the Cox School and a wise counsel in the real estate finance industry. Bill will be remembered for his integrity, subtle wit, and timeless scholarship. Carolyn and the entire Brueggeman family are in our prayers.
