William M "Mike" Buelteman

William "Mike" Buelteman, affectionately known as "Big City Mike", age 70, of Menominee, MI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Mike was born in Menominee, MI to the late William and Donna (Davis) Buelteman. He graduated from Menominee High School in 1974. Following in his fathers footsteps, Mike worked in used car sales for most of his life until his retirement in 2017.
In his younger years, Mike enjoyed stock car racing, and throughout his life he found joy in playing his accordion, hunting, fishing, playing poker at hunting camp, and a good game of smear. Above all, Mikes greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, William Russell and Donna Marie (Davis) Buelteman. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Bergfors) Buelteman; daughter, Michelle (Andrew) Janssen; step daughters, Mindy (Dennis) Spodeck and Melissa Plude. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Charlie and Wyatt Janssen, Emily, Samantha, and Hannah Bosch, Madelyn Knaak, and Ethan and Caelie Plude; five great grandchildren: Peyton, Remington, and Azaleah Bosch and Trevor and Mila Capelle. He also survived by his sisters: Connie (Chuck) Vojcihoski, Jeri (Jeff) Tuma, Lori (Sonny) Walcher, and Melinie (Rick) Hintz; brother, Gregg Buelteman; and many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Mikes wishes, no formal services will be held.
