William McIntosh Campbell Jr.

William "Bill" McIntosh Campbell Jr., 78 passed away Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 at Audubon Hospital.

He was the Store Manager for 58 years at the Pic-Pac Southside Drive location, an Army Vietnam Veteran, and a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

Preceding Bill in death are his parents, William & Gene (Wooten) Campbell Sr.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Schwartz) Campbell; and children, Eric Campbell (Christy), Gregory Campbell (Leigha), and Kimberly Melloan (Joel); grandchildren, Elise Lamkin, Olivia Campbell, Anthony Campbell, Trevor Campbell, Joshua Melloan (Molly), Alexandra Campbell, Senior Airman Justin Melloan (Cassidy), and Jayden Melloan; great-grandchildren, Jayden Campbell, Jackson Campbell, Kyri Campbell, and Joie Melloan; siblings, Michael Campbell, Becky Cottrell (Bill), and Peggy Cummings (Gene); nephew, Andrew Campbell; his fur baby, Willow Rose; and many friends from the Southwest YMCA.

His Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 26th, 2026 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Dr.

The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation for the loving and gentle care that the Audubon Nursing Staff, 3 East and the Hosparus Unit provided to Bill.
