William Castillo, 65, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away Monday, April 8, 2025.
Born April 10, 1959, in New York, NY, he grew up in California before joining the Navy. He served from 1977-1982, then moved to Florida where he met his wife, Dawn. Together they had a wonderful life (no children) and lived freely with love. After 39 years together, they were married on March 30, 2025.
William loved shooting at the gun range, archery, camping, four-wheeling in his Suburban, and gardening. He worked as an auto, RV and boat mechanic.
He is survived by his wonderful wife and best friend, Dawn, his brothers, Isreal, Frank and Duke as well as his sister-in-law Kathy, her husband Lou and mother-in-law Nancy.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and brother Conrad.
William was loved by everyone and now sits in heaven watching all of us on earth.
He was loved to the fullest and will be missed by all of us still living.
Military Honors will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 25th at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., St. Petersburg, FL 33708.
