William J. Chapman, 69, of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on May 21, 2024. Born in Camden, NJ, William spent time living in Levittown, PA before moving to Tuckerton 35 years ago. He was a Marine Corp veteran and formerly the business manager of Chevy 73 in Berlin, NJ. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, furniture restoration and watching Gunsmoke and Bonanza on television.
William was predeceased by his parents William Sr. and Leona Chapman and brother Patrick Chapman.
He is survived by his son Matthew Chapman and Liane of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, son Gregory Chapman of Tuckerton, NJ, former wife Gloria, brothers Joe, Ted, Mike, Kevin, Ray, John, Gerard, Paul and Francis, sisters Mary Catherine IHM, Anne, grandchildren Giana, Matthew Jr., Leona, and Jacqueline.
Visitation will be held on Sunday May 26, 2024 from 12-3 pm at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Road Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Cremation will be private.
