John (Mike) M. Worth, 68 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Thursday November 6th, 2025 and is now at peace with his wife. John was born and raised in Atlantic Highlands, NJ and spent many years living in Barnegat, NJ with his beloved wife Paticia Worth of 40 years before moving to Little Egg Harbor, NJ in 2021. He was the baby of 11 children and worked as a sanitation worker where he met his wife, Patty. He was kind enough to bring her garbage cans in from the curb for her and it was instant “sanitation sparks”. He later started his career as a heavy machinery mechanic for Total Business Supply (TBS) in Barnegat. He enjoyed collecting NASCARs and LOVED Dale Earnhardt and was an avid New York Giants fan. He loved his grandkids, he absolutely adored his wife and he enjoyed listening to The Rolling Stones.
John was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Frances Worth and his wife Patricia Worth.
He is survived by his loving daughter Aimee Horner of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, son Edward J. Schurley, grandchildren Lyla Rain Horner, Joseph M. Horner and Edward Corio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation services will be private.
“They will be missed beyond imaginable by many. May you both rest together now in Heaven. Daddy, make sure you sweep mommy off her feet and dance in the water. Until we meet again may you rest in peace. We love you!” – your loving kids Aimee and Ed.
