William Joseph Colozzi, born on January 8, 1931, in Camden County, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, at the age of 94.
He was an industrial engineer with RCA working on the Aegis prototype program. He was also division chairman of the local 106 IUEAFL-CIO. In 1979 he moved his family To Greensboro, NC where he was the Director of Control and Logistics, for the Greensboro, Bulk Mail center. He was instrumental in the opening of the 21 mail centers in the United States.
He loved horse raising, Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies, an avid golfer who was fortunate to make 2 hole in ones.
A proud veteran of United States Airforce, William served his country with honor and distinction. His sense of duty and dedication to service was a guiding principle throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joseph Colozzi and Rosa Leva. Left to cherish his memory are his loving life wife and best friend, Marilyn Colozzi, and his loving children William Glenn (Terry), Connie Lynne Jobe (Tim), Carl Edward (Maria), Grandchildren, Matthew Colozzi, Michael Colozzi, Kimberly Luckett (Zach), Abbie Kent (Kevin), Emily Crawford (Rob), Scott Jobe (Kathryn), William Colozzi, Nicholas Colozzi, three Great-grandchildren, Ellie and Riley Kent, Brooks Luckett, who will remember him as a caring husband, father and Great Grandfather..
In accordance with William's wishes, a private service will be held at a later date. The family appreciates all the love and support they have received during this difficult time as they honor and remember William's remarkable life.
