H. BICK BICKNELL
May 15, 2023
Even though Sandy was from a blue blood family and was an all-American lacrosse player at Colgate, he was a humble and congenial man. He managed my stock holdings for 54 years after my second tour in RVN when we settled in Watertown in 1968. During those years he insured that my holdings grew while maintaining a close relationship with me.
I still have a photo he took of me sitting in my 13' Whaler in its hoist at first light one morning before we went fishing.
Sandy was a conservationist who supported Ducks Unlimited, but did not hunt ducks as I did.
We dearly miss Sandy and pray that Nancy is comforted by knowing Sandy was a giant among men.

Nancy,
May Sandy's soul rest in peace and his spirit rise up and be with the Almighty.
May you be comforted in knowing that Sandy was respected and loved by many for being down to earth in spite of his blue blood heritage. Sandy has served our family for 52 years with our investments offering outstanding advice which has resulted in our investments growing over the years. Sandy was vey knowledgeable, honest, conservative, conscientious, selfless, and a hard worker in our best interest. He cannot be replaced, so we are a bit nervous what lies ahead with him managing our accounts. I enjoyed fishing with him and sharing a deep love for the outdoors and conservation. He has left a void in our lives. Your husband was great man.
