William ‘Bill’ Cornine passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Christian Homes Health Care Community in Holdrege, Nebraska at the age of 80. Bill was born October 20, 1944 in Sedalia, Missouri to John F. and Dorothy R. (Kuhn) Cornine where he also attended school.
William married Helen Kay Jones on August 25, 1994, in Missouri. The couple later moved to Cozad, Nebraska, in May 2002, where they built their home and shared many cherished moments together.
In his later years, William found himself at Christian Homes Health Care in Holdrege, Nebraska. He came to love the staff there, always expressing his gratitude for their compassionate care. Faith played a significant role in his life, guiding him in good times and challenging ones alike.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife Helen; brothers, Harvey, Thomas and Donald; and sisters, Liz and Clara. Survivors include his son, Jeremy Crum; siblings, Johnny Cornine, Harry (Karen) Cornine, Violet (Alan) Logan, and Ronnie (Annette) Cornine; friend, Jennifer Cañas and her family.
A graveside service will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Chaplain DeWane Dow officiating. There will be no visitation.
