William Ted Cox II
1964 - 2024
Strength. Dedication. Perseverance. These are the words that describe William "Ted" Cox, not just as a man but as he lived his life. After a successful career in technology, Ted felt he was being called into ministry. In a step filled by faith, he earned a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, and was two classes away from earning his Master's of Theology when he passed. Using the knowledge he obtained at seminary, and his love for the Lord Jesus Christ, he went on to share the Gospel with many people, in many settings. He taught the Truth of The Bible unapologetically, everywhere. After years of faithful service in ministry, Ted felt God had a different path in mind for him. He began a small company to create strong, affordable homes. Together with a group of smart, like-minded gentlemen, Ted worked to innovate new methods of construction. But setback after setback halted their progress, from prospects drying up to a worldwide pandemic shutting down business and supply lines. Still, even through the many challenges, Ted pressed on. His dedication to the work and the men around him drove him to seek new projects for the company. Even when he was plagued with a vicious cancer, until he was physically unable, he continued to persevere for those he loved. At the age of 60, on September 6, 2024, Ted Cox died in the arms of his loving wife, Carolyn, and his son, Grant. He is now in the arms of his loving Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. Even until the end, Ted never gave up. He kept the faith. He finished the race.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
