Anthony Figliola Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Figliola
09/22/1939 - 08/15/2025
Anthony "Tony" Figliola, 85, of Montgomery, TX, passed away with family by his side on August 15, 2025.
Born September 22, 1939, and raised on "The Hill" in St. Louis, MO, Tony lived a full and hardworking life rooted in dedication to his family and his work. After his graduation from Christian Brothers College, Tony enlisted in the Army, attended Basic Training, then later enlisted in the Army Reserves, where he served before being honorably discharged. He spent the majority of his career as a telephone repairman with Southwestern Bell/AT&T, retiring after 31 years of service. Retirement brought him the opportunity to travel, but Tony's strong work ethic and love of staying busy soon led him back to the workforce. He went on to lend his skills at W&W Telephone, took a brief stint at Wal-Mart, and eventually found what he considered the final chapter of his career as the beloved parking lot attendant at Montgomery High School with MISD, where his coworkers were considered extended family.
Tony's greatest pride was his family. He never missed the chance to cheer on his grandchildren, whether at the football field, baseball diamond, dance performances, or during military ceremonies, to name a few. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature, but nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by the people he loved most.
He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, his love for the outdoors, and most of all, his deep devotion to his family.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Victoria "Vicki" (Combs) of 54 years; and his 5 children Mike, Joe (Kay), David (Amy), Richard (Lacey), Toni (Trea) Luedke, Cynthia (Heath) Bratton. He was the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren, Jonathan (Kindle), Stephanie, Tiffanie, Dylan, Gabriella, Ali, Chase, Cameron, Bowen, and Hudson, who adored him and will carry his memory in their hearts; and 2 great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his brother, Tom (RoseAnn) and Lucy (Richard) Seibert; and many other close relatives that considered him family, if even through marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Dorothy Figliola; his daughter, Annette; son-in-law, Steve Winders; and his in-laws, James and Veronica Combs.
Though he was part of a blended family, Tony considered himself truly blessed-his family came together with love, unity, and an abundance of humor, which was a source of great joy for him.
A Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Tony will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX 77354. The family will receive friends, from 1:00 PM until the time of service, at the funeral home.
