William "Bill" R. Crady, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025. He was born on Monday, September 10, 1934, in Indianapolis to the late Earl L. and Irene (Crippen) Crady.
A proud patriot, Bill served honorably in the National Guard for eight years. He was a man of steadfast faith and a long-time member of Center Church Indy, formerly known as Center United Methodist Church.
Bill built a successful career as a systems analyst at RCA, where he worked with dedication and integrity until his retirement. His thoughtful nature and problem-solving skills earned him the respect of colleagues and peers alike.
Bill was known for his bright smile, generous heart, and deep love for his family. He cherished family gatherings, especially holidays and vacations, often spent camping or traveling in the family camper. He found great joy in golfing, singing in the church choir, playing euchre, and ballroom dancing with his beloved wife. In his youth, he was a very competitive checker player-a testament to his sharp mind and love of friendly rivalry. He also enjoyed meeting friends for breakfast at Greenwood Village and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 61 years, Helen Maxine Crady, and four siblings, his baby sister, Irene Crady, Carl Crady, Gail Adkins and Lowell "Tony" Crady.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood.
